Zurzeit berät das RISU den Landkreis Wolfenbüttel zu städtebaulichen Fragen bei Errichtung eines Kompetenz- und Innovationszentrums, in dem technologische Entwicklung, Forschung und Know-how zu Themen der kerntechnischen Entsorgung gebündelt werden.
